Sylvia GM / Campaign system
A GM agent for many TTRPGs.
Sylvia runs solo campaigns through conversation. She reads a Campaign Plan, calls the selected Ruleset when a mechanic needs a deterministic result, and carries the outcome forward.
At the table
You write what your character tries. Sylvia reads the campaign material, decides which mechanic applies, and calls the ruleset. The ruleset commits the result before Sylvia narrates it.
The model can interpret the attempt. It does not get to quietly replace the mechanical result.
Behind the screen
A Campaign Plan gives Sylvia something to run before the first turn: acts, beats, private facts, and the conditions for revealing them. It is not a script. The plan can change when the player does something unexpected, while the history records what actually happened.
The Builder is a separate conversation
Running the campaign and making its material are different jobs. Builder helps create rulesets, settings, and Campaign Plans. Sylvia uses that material during play without turning the live GM conversation into an editing session.
The ruleset owns the rules
A ruleset declares its mechanics, state, available actions, and player-facing panels. Sylvia does not assume that every game has D&D abilities, hit points, or combat turns.
The Alpha is being prepared with the open D&D SRD 5.2.1 and an explicit No Ruleset option. Trigger Discipline is the second full ruleset. Its tactical combat has already forced Sylvia to gain a grid, a raycaster, and a node map for hacking.

Sylvia can use a hosted OpenAI-compatible provider or connect to a local inference server that is already running. Provider presets are conveniences, not a fixed allowlist.
Campaign exports stay separate from provider credentials. Alpha will not download or manage a local model runtime for you.
The first public Alpha
The first release is being prepared for Windows 11. It will be free, open source, and distributed as one unsigned installer after the advertised journeys pass release qualification.

- Local and user-chosen OpenAI-compatible providers
